Jupiters Tops the Nation at Industry Awards

The team at Jupiters Hotel & Casino Gold Coast is celebrating after taking home the top gong at the prestigious National MEA (Meetings and Events Australia) Awards presented in Melbourne last night (Tuesday, 20 April).
The hotel-casino property was named ‘Best Venue with Accommodation’ in Australia at the Awards which are designed to recognise outstanding performance in the Australian Meetings & Events industry.
Managing Director Stuart Wing said it was an honour to be recognised as the premier venue in the country by the industry’s peak body.
“The award win is an outstanding achievement and demonstrates that Jupiters continues to set benchmarks in a highly competitive industry,” he said.
“We entered this category because it really encompasses the entire experience our business tourism guests enjoy at Jupiters.
“From the moment guests arrive our team delivers a consistently high level of service across every touch point including events, hotel, food and beverage and security just to name a few. For this reason the award win is a true credit to the entire Jupiters team.”
Director of Sales, Wayne Pilgrim said the win capped off a testing but rewarding period for the company.
“We have seen a challenging year across the industry, however we used this to our advantage by tailoring our offering, thinking outside the square and still delivering a superior level of customer service,” he explained.
He said the business is now entering an exciting period of change and growth with the recent formalisation of a new partnership with WORLDHOTELS – a collection of the world's most unique independent hotels.
“We are looking forward to consolidating our position and to working with WORLDHOTELS and industry bodies to grow the business tourism industry in Queensland and Australia,” he said.
