Formerly known as Exhibition Hire, ExpoNet has a proud history of industry leadership and innovation dating back more than 30 years. Established in 1980, Exhibition Hire undertook a significant acquisition program in 2008, acquiring the AE Group in February and Onsite Power & Light in August. The acquisition of Expo Hire in September 2008 complemented expansion plans for Victoria and positioned the company as the largest exhibition industry supplier in Australia.
On 1 February 2010, the company was renamed ExpoNet. The ExpoNet name was conceived 20 years ago by the principals of Exhibition Hire and Expo Hire when, as two of Australia’s leading exhibition suppliers, they decided a national approach was needed to market the industry and its services.
Today, the ExpoNet name reflects the company’s network of branches in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne and the broad range of industry products and services that it provides, including exhibition equipment hire, custom stand design and construction, event signage and graphic services, and lighting and audio visual support.
ExpoNet has worked with Australia’s major exhibition and event organisers and professional conference organisers, as well as many large corporations and key government departments.
