Gold Coast Film Fantastic

Gold Coasters will be able to experience and participate in a brand new film program at the 2009 Film Fantastic which will have significant and direct effect on local filmakers.
Local Showcase: Films Made in Queensland will be a program of up to five feature films produced in Queensland which are currently seeking local and/or foreign sales or distribution deals. The initiative is designed to foster and promote Queensland filmmaking talent and is presented by Bond University.
The Local Showcase program is funded by the Regional Arts Development Fund, and is a Queensland Government and Gold Coast City Council partnership to support local arts and culture. The program showcases talented filmmakers and assists them in making the necessary industry connections, spurring and facillitating the local industry.
